Expert Advisor, Video Engineering

Own what the output actually looks like. Model choice, conditioning, temporal consistency, grade, the compositing and finishing that separates a generated clip from something a brand will put its name on — that judgement is the role, and it is not yet written down anywhere.

what you will do

  • Define and defend the output quality bar, and make it measurable rather than felt
  • Evaluate video models against real briefs and decide which earn a place in the pipeline
  • Solve the recurring craft failures — temporal flicker, identity drift, motion artefacts, grade mismatch
  • Design the finishing chain: colour, conform, audio, delivery specification
  • Turn craft judgement into defaults the system applies without being asked
  • Work with Technical Engineering on where a quality problem is genuinely a code problem

what you will bring

  • Senior post-production or VFX background — colour, compositing, finishing, or a supervisory equivalent
  • Hands-on fluency with current generative video models and their conditioning controls
  • Working knowledge of codecs, colour management and delivery specifications
  • Ability to articulate why an output is wrong precisely enough for someone to fix it
  • Comfort encoding taste as a rule rather than applying it shot by shot
  • Open to full-time or fractional engagement

If you meet most of this and not all of it, apply anyway and say which part you do not have. That is more useful to read than a list that matches perfectly.
